Born and raised in Pleasant Hill, CA, Dave earned a Construction Management degree from California State University, Sacramento in 1994 and began his career with Granite Construction Company in Indio, CA after graduation.
After working five years at Granite, Dave held management roles with other local grading contractors gaining invaluable experience, deep industry knowledge, and extensive construction industry contacts.
In 2004 Dave obtained his California contractor’s license and founded Lippert Construction, Inc. shortly afterward. Since 2005, Dave and Lippert Construction, Inc., have managed and built over $146 million of grading projects in the Coachella Valley and surrounding regions. Dave and Lippert Construction, Inc. have built a reputation around on-time delivery, budget control, proactive planning, and strong safety standards. He has served in leadership and board roles with regional industry organizations including the Desert Valleys Builders Association and the Desert Contractors Association. Dave’s experience centers on heavy civil grading, site preparation, construction management, and leadership within the Coachella Valley construction industry.
Overall, Dave has been active in construction project grading in the Coachella Valley since 1994.
